week 11 - Anzac biscuits!
It's the last week of school! We are all looking forward to a well deserved break! To commemorate Anzac day on 25 April room 3 made Anzac cookies. We invited our buddy class (room 19) to join us. We had fun mixing the dough and making the cookies! Here is our recipe:
1 cup plain flour
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup brown sugar
125 grams melted butter
1/2 cup dessicated coconut
2 tablespoons golden syrup
1 tablespoons water
1 teaspoon Bicarbonate of Soda
Method
Turn oven on to 180 degrees.
Put all the dry ingredients in a bowl. Then add all the wet ingredients. Mix to make a dough. Take a little dough and make balls, then place on a greased baking tray and press lightly with a fork or your hand. Bake for 10- 15 until golden brown. Leave to cool. Then enjoy!!

Developmental time - take 2!
Some of us preferred playing with play dough. We enjoyed the squishy feel of the play dough! We made shapes, rolled it out and even
made spaghetti!

Developmental time - take 1!
On Friday we had time to do some developmental activities. Some of us chose to play in the sandpit . We liked
using the toys like tip trucks, and bucket and spades. We remembered to be PCS when we shared toys and put them away when we had finished playing!!

Following a beat & rhythm!
On Friday we learned how to keep a beat and follow a rhythm with Mrs Corke. Following a beat was easy but we found that following a rhythm was a bit tricky!
