week 11 - Anzac biscuits!

It's the last week of school! We are all looking forward to a well deserved break! To commemorate Anzac day on 25 April room 3 made Anzac cookies. We invited our buddy class (room 19) to join us. We had fun mixing the dough and making the cookies! Here is our recipe:
1 cup plain flour
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup brown sugar
125 grams melted butter
1/2 cup dessicated coconut
2 tablespoons golden syrup
1 tablespoons water
1 teaspoon Bicarbonate of Soda

Method
Turn oven on to 180 degrees.
Put all the dry ingredients in a bowl. Then add all the wet ingredients. Mix to make a dough. Take a little dough and make balls, then place on a greased baking tray and press lightly with a fork or your hand. Bake for 10- 15 until golden brown. Leave to cool. Then enjoy!!
